Question Pattern in Round 1.1

There were two parts in the MCQ test:

  1. Aptitude-Based Questions – 20 Questions

  2. Technical-Based Questions – 10 Questions

Let me explain both parts in detail:

1. Aptitude-Based Questions (20 Questions)

These were mostly logic and reasoning type questions. Here’s the breakdown:

TopicNo. of Questions
Order & Ranking3
Encoding & Decoding2
Direction Test2
Blood Relation3
Seating Arrangement3
Puzzle (Floor Puzzle)2
Statement (True/False Type)2
Series (Find Next Pattern)3

These are basic logical reasoning topics. You should practice similar questions from websites like IndiaBix or RS Aggarwal books.

2. Technical-Based Questions (10 Questions)

These were based on Computer Science subjects like DSA, Operating Systems, and Databases.

Data Structures & Algorithms

You can expect questions from:

  • Arrays

  • Linked Lists

  • Trees (BST, AVL Tree)

  • Graphs

  • Heaps

  • Time and Space Complexity

  • BFS & DFS

  • Dynamic Programming (Knapsack, Huffman Coding, etc.)

  • Floyd Warshall, Ford Fulkerson

C++ Coding Questions

  • Output-based questions (predict the output of given code)

  • Fill in the blanks (complete a missing part of a function)

Operating System Concepts

  • Examples of Distributed OS

  • Difference between Windows, MacOS, and Linux

  • Fragmentation in memory

  • File Systems

  • CPU Scheduling algorithms

Database & Security

These questions check your basic understanding of CS topics, not deep-level knowledge. If you’ve studied CS subjects in college or prepared for placements, you’ll find them manageable.

So Finally,

This was just the first MCQ round (Round 1.1). It was a mix of logical reasoning and CS fundamentals. The time was limited, so speed and accuracy both matter a lot.

I’ll soon share my experience from Round 1.2 and later rounds...
